About Morrow

Morrow is a commercial insurance brokerage for small and medium businesses in the United States. The legal entity is Afthonea Inc., doing business as Morrow Risk Advisory. We are a licensed producer and broker, not an insurance carrier: we do not underwrite or issue policies ourselves. We represent the business buying the coverage, and we place that coverage with the insurers who actually carry the risk.

What we do

We place commercial property and casualty insurance: general liability, workers' compensation, commercial auto and trucking, business owners policies, commercial property, professional liability (E&O), cyber, directors and officers, EPLI, inland marine, liquor liability, builders risk, surety bonds, and umbrella and excess layers. We work with businesses from roughly two people up to about 500 employees. If a business falls outside that range, we will say so rather than waste anyone's time.

We shop more than 100 carriers, including excess and surplus (E&S) markets built for risks that standard carriers decline. That matters most for businesses that have been non-renewed, have losses on the record, or operate in a class most insurers avoid.

How we are different

Traditional brokers are slow because submitting one application to a dozen carriers is manual work. Online portals are fast but give you a price with no advice behind it. We use software to prepare and submit applications to many carriers at once, and a licensed advisor reviews what comes back with you. You get the speed of a portal and the judgment of a broker, which is the combination most business owners actually want.

A licensed producer completes every quote. There is no fully automated path from form to bound policy on this site, by design: commercial coverage has too many ways to be quietly wrong for a form to be the last word.

How we get paid

Like every broker, Morrow earns a commission from the carrier when a policy binds. Unlike many, we will tell you what that commission is if you ask, and we do not steer business toward the carriers that happen to pay us more. If we cannot beat the coverage or the price you already have, we will tell you that too.
