Amateur Squash Match Insurance: Coverage, Cost and Same-Day Guide

An amateur squash event schedules matches and practice on enclosed courts, often at a club or university facility with a small viewing gallery. Organizers should sort out facility contract requirements, eye-protection rules and waivers, and whether participant injury coverage is needed alongside general liability.

Which guide answers my question?

Which activities should the application describe?

Insurers price and review amateur squash match insurance from the activity plan, not the event name. Describe who is responsible for each of these arrangements:

  • Schedule squash matches and court practice.
  • Control court entry during play.
  • Position spectators around enclosed courts.

What kind of claim is this insurance for?

Suppose a spectator leaning on the court's glass door is hit when it swings open as players exit between games and alleges that the squash organizer caused the injury. That is the kind of third-party claim event liability insurance may address, subject to the policy terms. If a player is struck in the eye by an opponent's racquet and claims against the organizer, you may need a separate coverage option; ordinary event liability is not automatically the answer.

What should I have ready for a quote?

  • The legal name of the squash organizer who will be the named insured.
  • Event dates, setup and teardown times, the venue address and expected daily attendance.
  • The venue contract or permit, including any certificate and additional insured wording it requires.
  • Whether alcohol is served, sold or brought by guests, and who serves it.
  • Hired vendors, performers and equipment rentals, and any activity beyond the list above.

Request a quote with your event details. Submitting the form does not bind insurance.
