Snooker Game Insurance: Coverage, Cost and Same-Day Guide

Snooker games are casual or exhibition frames played on full-size or smaller tables at clubs, bars or private homes. Organizers should describe the table layout and clearance around it, confirm venue certificate needs and check host or liquor liability if the game takes place in a bar.

Which guide answers my question?

Which activities should the application describe?

Insurers price and review snooker game insurance from the activity plan, not the event name. Describe who is responsible for each of these arrangements:

  • Describe the snooker playing format and the actual table layout.
  • Identify players, officials and responsibility for cues and equipment.
  • Coordinate match observation and movement around occupied tables.

What kind of claim is this insurance for?

Suppose a spectator is struck in the face by a cue butt as a player draws back for a shot in a tight room and alleges that the snooker organizer caused the injury. That is the kind of third-party claim event liability insurance may address, subject to the policy terms. If a borrowed snooker table is damaged when a player tears the cloth, since rented equipment may be excluded, you may need a separate coverage option; ordinary event liability is not automatically the answer.

What should I have ready for a quote?

  • The legal name of the snooker organizer who will be the named insured.
  • Event dates, setup and teardown times, the venue address and expected daily attendance.
  • The venue contract or permit, including any certificate and additional insured wording it requires.
  • Whether alcohol is served, sold or brought by guests, and who serves it.
  • Hired vendors, performers and equipment rentals, and any activity beyond the list above.

Request a quote with your event details. Submitting the form does not bind insurance.
