Static RV Show Insurance (Parked Vehicles Only): Coverage, Cost and Same-Day Guide

Static RV shows park motorhomes, travel trailers and campers for visitors to walk through, with dealers and vendors but no driving or demos during show hours. Organizers should sort out how vehicles are moved in and out, dealer certificates, walk-through step safety and whether the RVs themselves need separate coverage.

Which guide answers my question?

Which activities should the application describe?

Insurers price and review static RV show insurance (parked vehicles only) from the activity plan, not the event name. Describe who is responsible for each of these arrangements:

  • Describe static RV displays and visitor walkthroughs.
  • Identify steps, platforms and temporary utilities.
  • Coordinate dealer-owned property and vehicle positioning.

What kind of claim is this insurance for?

Suppose a visitor falls from a motorhome's fold-out entry step while touring the parked RV displays and alleges that the RV show organizer caused the injury. That is the kind of third-party claim event liability insurance may address, subject to the policy terms. If a displayed RV is damaged by hail, or a dealer drives one through the show grounds, you may need a separate coverage option; ordinary event liability is not automatically the answer.

What should I have ready for a quote?

  • The legal name of the RV show organizer who will be the named insured.
  • Event dates, setup and teardown times, the venue address and expected daily attendance.
  • The venue contract or permit, including any certificate and additional insured wording it requires.
  • Whether alcohol is served, sold or brought by guests, and who serves it.
  • Hired vendors, performers and equipment rentals, and any activity beyond the list above.

Request a quote with your event details. Submitting the form does not bind insurance.
