Indoor Reunion Insurance: Coverage, Cost and Same-Day Guide

Indoor reunions hold class, family or association gatherings entirely inside a banquet hall, restaurant, hotel or clubhouse. Organizers should keep all activities indoors to match the description, confirm the venue's certificate requirements and sort out host or liquor liability for any bar.

Which guide answers my question?

Which activities should the application describe?

Insurers price and review indoor reunion insurance from the activity plan, not the event name. Describe who is responsible for each of these arrangements:

  • Identify the family, class, association or other group holding the reunion.
  • Describe registration, memorabilia and any shared activities.
  • Coordinate multiple generations or age groups according to the actual guest list.
  • Keep the described public program within the identified indoor rooms and clarify loading access.

What kind of claim is this insurance for?

Suppose an older classmate falls on a narrow stairway leading to the rented banquet room at the reunion and alleges that the reunion organizer caused the injury. That is the kind of third-party claim event liability insurance may address, subject to the policy terms. If the organizer's display boards and memorabilia are damaged, or the hall cancels the booking, you may need a separate coverage option; ordinary event liability is not automatically the answer.

What should I have ready for a quote?

  • The legal name of the reunion organizer who will be the named insured.
  • Event dates, setup and teardown times, the venue address and expected daily attendance.
  • The venue contract or permit, including any certificate and additional insured wording it requires.
  • Whether alcohol is served, sold or brought by guests, and who serves it.
  • Hired vendors, performers and equipment rentals, and any activity beyond the list above.

Request a quote with your event details. Submitting the form does not bind insurance.
