Easter Egg Hunt Insurance: Coverage, Cost and Same-Day Guide

An Easter egg hunt sends children of different ages across a lawn, park or church grounds to collect eggs, often alongside photos with a costumed bunny and small attractions. Organizers should confirm how child injuries are handled, whether vendors bring their own coverage, and what the property owner requires.

Which guide answers my question?

Which activities should the application describe?

Insurers price and review Easter egg hunt insurance from the activity plan, not the event name. Describe who is responsible for each of these arrangements:

  • Map the egg-hunt area and any public paths it crosses.
  • Describe age groups and whether adults join the activity.
  • Identify fillers, prizes and other attractions supplied by vendors.

What kind of claim is this insurance for?

Suppose a toddler is knocked down and injured when older children rush the egg field at the start signal and alleges that the egg hunt organizer caused the injury. That is the kind of third-party claim event liability insurance may address, subject to the policy terms. If rain forces cancellation after candy, prizes and inflatables are already paid for, you may need a separate coverage option; ordinary event liability is not automatically the answer.

What should I have ready for a quote?

  • The legal name of the egg hunt organizer who will be the named insured.
  • Event dates, setup and teardown times, the venue address and expected daily attendance.
  • The venue contract or permit, including any certificate and additional insured wording it requires.
  • Whether alcohol is served, sold or brought by guests, and who serves it.
  • Hired vendors, performers and equipment rentals, and any activity beyond the list above.

Request a quote with your event details. Submitting the form does not bind insurance.
