Sales or Info Booth Insurance: Coverage, Cost and Same-Day Guide

A sales or info booth is a small footprint at a fair, expo or festival used to sell products or share information, often with banners, tablets and giveaways. Operators should review visitor liability, protection for display equipment, and the certificate the event organizer requires.

Which guide answers my question?

Which activities should the application describe?

Insurers price and review sales or info booth insurance from the activity plan, not the event name. Describe who is responsible for each of these arrangements:

  • Clarify whether the booth sells goods or distributes information.
  • Identify displays and visitor interaction at the footprint.
  • Coordinate the organizer's access and insurance requirements.

What kind of claim is this insurance for?

Suppose a visitor trips over a weighted banner base that juts into the aisle and fractures a wrist and alleges that the booth operator caused the injury. That is the kind of third-party claim event liability insurance may address, subject to the policy terms. If the booth's display monitor, tablets and banners are damaged or stolen at the show, you may need a separate coverage option; ordinary event liability is not automatically the answer.

What should I have ready for a quote?

  • The legal name of the booth operator who will be the named insured.
  • Event dates, setup and teardown times, the venue address and expected daily attendance.
  • The venue contract or permit, including any certificate and additional insured wording it requires.
  • Whether alcohol is served, sold or brought by guests, and who serves it.
  • Hired vendors, performers and equipment rentals, and any activity beyond the list above.

Request a quote with your event details. Submitting the form does not bind insurance.
