Blackjack Event Insurance: Coverage, Cost and Same-Day Guide

A blackjack event sets up dealer-run tables for guests, usually with play chips and prizes at fundraisers or casino-themed parties. Organizers should confirm whether real stakes are involved, liability for guests at the tables, and who is responsible for rented tables and chips.

Which guide answers my question?

Which activities should the application describe?

Insurers price and review blackjack event insurance from the activity plan, not the event name. Describe who is responsible for each of these arrangements:

  • Describe whether blackjack uses real stakes or demonstration chips.
  • Identify dealers and supplied gaming tables.
  • Coordinate prizes, payments and participant access.

What kind of claim is this insurance for?

Suppose a guest is hurt when a folding blackjack table collapses as players lean on the rail and alleges that the blackjack event organizer caused the injury. That is the kind of third-party claim event liability insurance may address, subject to the policy terms. If rented gaming tables and chip sets are damaged or stolen during the event, you may need a separate coverage option; ordinary event liability is not automatically the answer.

What should I have ready for a quote?

  • The legal name of the blackjack event organizer who will be the named insured.
  • Event dates, setup and teardown times, the venue address and expected daily attendance.
  • The venue contract or permit, including any certificate and additional insured wording it requires.
  • Whether alcohol is served, sold or brought by guests, and who serves it.
  • Hired vendors, performers and equipment rentals, and any activity beyond the list above.

Request a quote with your event details. Submitting the form does not bind insurance.
