Bingo Event Insurance: Coverage, Cost and Same-Day Guide

A bingo event seats players at long tables with cards, a caller and prizes, often run by churches, clubs or schools. Organizers should look at guest liability in crowded seating and how cash proceeds are protected, and handle any gaming rules separately from their insurance questions.

Which guide answers my question?

Which activities should the application describe?

Insurers price and review bingo event insurance from the activity plan, not the event name. Describe who is responsible for each of these arrangements:

  • Describe bingo cards, prizes and any payments.
  • Identify caller equipment and participant seating.
  • Coordinate game proceeds and required permissions separately from insurance.

What kind of claim is this insurance for?

Suppose a player's elderly companion trips on a folding chair leg in a tightly packed row and fractures a hip and alleges that the bingo organizer caused the injury. That is the kind of third-party claim event liability insurance may address, subject to the policy terms. If the cash box of bingo proceeds is stolen from the table during a break, you may need a separate coverage option; ordinary event liability is not automatically the answer.

What should I have ready for a quote?

  • The legal name of the bingo organizer who will be the named insured.
  • Event dates, setup and teardown times, the venue address and expected daily attendance.
  • The venue contract or permit, including any certificate and additional insured wording it requires.
  • Whether alcohol is served, sold or brought by guests, and who serves it.
  • Hired vendors, performers and equipment rentals, and any activity beyond the list above.

Request a quote with your event details. Submitting the form does not bind insurance.
