Bazaar Insurance: Coverage, Cost and Same-Day Guide

A bazaar gathers independent stalls, food and entertainment in a shared hall, parking lot or school grounds. Organizers should sort out liability for common areas and aisles, whether each vendor needs its own coverage, and what the property owner requires on a certificate.

Which guide answers my question?

Which activities should the application describe?

Insurers price and review bazaar insurance from the activity plan, not the event name. Describe who is responsible for each of these arrangements:

  • List independent stalls and activities within the bazaar.
  • Describe shared aisles, temporary stalls and performances.
  • Coordinate vendors' own sales and the organizer's common areas.

What kind of claim is this insurance for?

Suppose a shopper is hurt when a stall's canopy blows loose and strikes people walking in the shared aisle and alleges that the bazaar organizer caused the injury. That is the kind of third-party claim event liability insurance may address, subject to the policy terms. If an independent stall holder has no insurance and a customer injured at that stall sues everyone involved, you may need a separate coverage option; ordinary event liability is not automatically the answer.

What should I have ready for a quote?

  • The legal name of the bazaar organizer who will be the named insured.
  • Event dates, setup and teardown times, the venue address and expected daily attendance.
  • The venue contract or permit, including any certificate and additional insured wording it requires.
  • Whether alcohol is served, sold or brought by guests, and who serves it.
  • Hired vendors, performers and equipment rentals, and any activity beyond the list above.

Request a quote with your event details. Submitting the form does not bind insurance.
