What kind of claim is this insurance for?
Suppose a guest walking to their seat is injured when a photographer's light stand topples into the aisle and alleges that the event host caused the injury. That is the kind of third-party claim event liability insurance may address, subject to the policy terms. If an engraved trophy or rented display case is damaged before the ceremony and must be replaced, you may need a separate coverage option; ordinary event liability is not automatically the answer.
