Which guide answers my question?
- Art Show Insurance: What Coverage Do I Need? Art Show Insurance can help with covered liability claims that someone was injured or their property was damaged because of your event or work.
- How Much Does Art Show Insurance Cost? The cost of art show insurance depends on attendance, exhibitor count, display values and setup dates.
- Where Can I Get Same-Day or Instant Art Show Insurance? You can request art show insurance from Morrow.
- Art Show: Are Vendors, Performers, and Rented Equipment Covered? The organizer’s liability, a supplier’s business insurance and protection for rented equipment are separate parts of an event insurance plan.
Which activities should the application describe?
Insurers price and review art show insurance from the activity plan, not the event name. Describe who is responsible for each of these arrangements:
- Identify artists and ownership of displayed works.
- Describe hanging, freestanding or interactive installations.
- Coordinate artwork transport and venue wall-use conditions.
What kind of claim is this insurance for?
Suppose a visitor is hurt when a freestanding display panel holding framed paintings topples in a busy aisle and alleges that the art show organizer caused the injury. That is the kind of third-party claim event liability insurance may address, subject to the policy terms. If a borrowed painting is damaged while being hung or during transport back to the artist, you may need a separate coverage option; ordinary event liability is not automatically the answer.
What should I have ready for a quote?
- The legal name of the art show organizer who will be the named insured.
- Event dates, setup and teardown times, the venue address and expected daily attendance.
- The venue contract or permit, including any certificate and additional insured wording it requires.
- Whether alcohol is served, sold or brought by guests, and who serves it.
- Hired vendors, performers and equipment rentals, and any activity beyond the list above.
Request a quote with your event details. Submitting the form does not bind insurance.
